Leica 135mm (1963–1977)
A manual-focus telephoto prime lens made by Leica, available in multiple versions including the f/2.8 Elmarit and f/4.5 Hektor.
Overview
The Leica 135mm refers to a family of telephoto prime lenses produced by Leica under various model names, including the Elmarit-M 135mm f/2.8 and the Hektor 13.5cm f/4.5. The Elmarit-M f/2.8 version was manufactured from 1963 to 1977 and was also known as the Tele Elmarit. The Hektor f/4.5 variant was produced earlier, with versions made for both screw-thread and M-bayonet mounts between 1933 and 1960. These lenses were designed for use with Leica rangefinder systems, though adapters allow modern use on mirrorless cameras.
