Design
The TC-FX33 uses logic control with feather-touch operation buttons and a soft eject mechanism. It includes an auto tape selector that detects tape type via the cassette detection hole, with a manual selector available for Type III (Fe-Cr) or metal tapes without the hole. The deck features a peak level meter (-20dB to +8 dB), a long stroke recording slide volume, a rec mute function with auto space, and a high-output headphone port. A timer standby mechanism helps conserve power.
